CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We are welcoming abstracts for a SDCF panel at the Summer 2022 ISCP Shanghai Conference.

The theme of the panel is “Games, sports, and the Chinese Classics — a comparative exploration.”
Abstracts should be 250 to 300 words long.
Topic requirement: Comparisons across time, space, culture with a focus on Chinese philosophy and the Chinese Classics.

Topics may include but are not limited to themes such as:  
—what is the nature of sport and games and how can Chinese Classics help us understand it?
— what kind of purpose and function do games and sport serve in a multivariate cultural and social environment?
— cooperation, competition, and human nature.
