Dr. Elizabeth Woo Li

Dr. Elizabeth Woo Li is currently a Senior Adviser and a Research Associate at the China Department at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at London University. She attended Cambridge University as a Research Scholar at Needham Research Institute (2014-2015) and is a Senior Member of Robinson College (2015-2020). She is a Research Associate (Honorary) at the Research Center for Chinese Philosophy and Culture at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2014-2019). In 2013, she founded and currently chairs the Sinological Development Charitable Foundation Limited, a non-profit organization registered in Hong Kong. It aims at the globalization of Chinese scholarship pertaining to the fundamental aspects of the Chinese mode of thought from the classical tradition.  Dr. Li is a graduate of Peking University with a Doctoral Degree in Chinese Philosophy.

Dr. Lewis Chan

Dr. Lewis Chan is Managing Partner at MaunaKai Capital Partners and a co-founder of Symbior Energy. Lewis was formerly assistant professor of finance at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology during 2000-04, adjunct associate professor of finance 2004-2006. He was an advisor to North Yard Economics during 2009-13, a non-profit consultancy to developing countries.  Lewis is a research fellow at The China Center for Financial Research at Tsinghua University, and a member of the Admissions, Budgets and Allocations Committee, the Community Chest of Hong Kong.  Lewis received his Ph.D. from Harvard University, a M.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from the University of Chicago, all in economics.

Mr. Aubrey K. S. Li

Mr. Aubrey Li is a financier with over 40 years‘ experience in Asia, the US and Europe. He is a founder of the IAM Legacy and MCL Financial groups, having spent many years at N M Rothschild & Sons, S G Warburg & Co (now UBS) and Chemical Bank (now part of JP Morgan Chase). He is a member of the governing bodies of Chung Chi College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and is non-executive director in a number of listed companies in Hong Kong.

Mr. N. Y. Li

Mr. N. Y. Li is the President of Beijing-HK Academic Exchange Center since 1997 and was one of the founding directors in 1985. The major function of the Center is to promote academic and cultural exchanges between Mainland China and HK as well as overseas. The fields of exchange cover widely, including natural science, applied science and technology, social science and humanity studies.  Mr. Li is also actively involved in cultural activities in HK. A Medal of Honour is awarded to Mr. Li by the HKSAR Government in 2012 to recognise his achievements in these years.  Mr. Li is a member of HK Institution of Engineers, a member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK) and a Chartered Engineer (UK).

Mr. Calvin K. P. See

Mr. Calvin See has degrees in Real Estate and Construction (Surveying) from the University of Hong Kong, in Law from University of London and a Global EMBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He is a Chartered Surveyor by profession, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and International Council of Shopping Centers and a founding member of Hong Kong Professionals & Senior Executives Association. He has over 20 years of commercial real estate portfolio management and development experiences in Mainland China and Hong Kong and has been stationing in the Mainland since 2005. Currently, he is serving Swire Properties (China) Investment Company Limited as Head of Business Development.

Mr. Jerry C. C. CHIOU

Mr. Jerry Chiou is a retired financier with over 40 years experience in Greater China and US. He is a graduate from National Taiwan University (BA in Economics) and the University of Houston (MBA in Finance), and is a Certified Public Accountant from the State of California.

Before retirement, he was a co-founder of a Taiwan/US/French joint venture securities investment trust company and a Taiwan/US joint venture private equity fund in Taiwan, and served as Chairman of the securities investment trust company until retirement. Presently, he serves as Director or Supervisor of several listed or non-listed companies in Taiwan.

Dr. Xiao-feng LIU

Dr. Liu has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance. Between 1993 and 2009 he worked in N. M. Rothschild, JP Morgan, and DBS Asia Capital. From March 2010 to January 2016, he was a Managing Director of China Resources Capital Holdings Co., Ltd.

Dr. Liu has been an independent non-executive Director of Kunlun Energy Company Limited, Haier Electronics Groups Co., Ltd, Honghua Group Limited, and Cinda International, all listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He is also a board member of Shinho Group, one of the leading condiment brewing companies in China, and an independent non-executive director of UBS Securities. He graduated from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (China) with a Bachelor of Economics degree. He obtained his Master and Ph.D. in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge.
